Family, friends, comrades, it is high noon. Starting today, every Monday at noon, there will be a Liberation Today “High Noon Report.” Yes, I am aware it’s past noon. Just pretend, please.

I will take this time to report on any recent events or topics that I feel we should discuss. So let’s talk about something completely uncontroversial that we all must have nothing but positive feelings about. Liberals.

(All sarcastic statements will be written in italics)

I don’t actually hate liberals.

Yes yes, ease up on the pitchforks my friends. I know some of my comrades are going to look at me funny for saying this, but I don’t harbor any hatred for the average person who finds themselves aligning with liberal ideology. I used to be a super liberal so I have a heightened understanding of the appeal.

Democrats present themselves as the party representing the oppressed and the minorities. Black people, women, gay people, immigrants, etc. It’s the party of social justice and reform. My issue with the liberal ideology and the Democratic party is its alignment with its evil spouse, capitalism.

Democratic Party and Capitalism

I used the marriage comparison because liberalism is married to capitalism. It currently exists within an inseparable union. This is why I find it hard to take liberal politicians seriously as they now have the nerve to cry about the oligarchy. Acting like their desperate glazing for and enthusiastic participation in capitalism didn’t lay the bricks for this shit.

Let me be clear, nothing is more bipartisan in this country than support for three things: Oligarchy, Imperialism, and keeping the masses in line.

If you look at where politicians from both parties receive their money, you would realize they both benefit from this system as it stands now. They (Dems) suddenly care about the billionaires having control, because the billionaires are funding the Republicans instead. Big money being allowed in politics is how oligarchies are born.

You don’t need to lose ALL hope though. There are several progressive democrats, who reject these funds and don’t allow themselves to be bought by billionaires, Israel, or other greedy entities.

So where do we move on from here?

The only viable future I see for this party is to let the progressives cook. Progressive policy is well-liked. Bernie Sanders may not be left enough in the eyes of many fellow socialists, or too left in the eyes of liberals, but that makes him and those like him a great starting point. Let’s hope the Democrats can learn from previous mistakes and allow for more progressive voices to take the lead in the fight against fascism.

Wait, time out. I almost forgot this is a news report. So what “new” information am I presenting? Well, I read something that sparked me to write this. So remember what I just said about learning from previous mistakes? Well…

“Centrist Dem group rails against leftist identity politics and purity tests” (Politico)

So several democratic leaders and staffers had this meeting to discuss the future of the party. There is a five-page document of takeaways. Now I would like to note just to be fair, that this isn’t an official democratic party meeting. The DNC did not host this, but a centrist think tank called Third Way.

The suggestions? Become MORE right-wing

No joke, some of the takeaways include being pro-capitalist, defending police instead of academia, and silencing “far-left” voices. If this party adapts the bullshit I just read, they will (deservedly) lose every single election for the next decades.

They just ran one of the most right-wing Democratic candidates in this century lost to Kumquat Mussolini, and now they think they need to be even more right-wing. If voters want to vote for a right-wing party, they will vote for the REAL right-wing party. Not this diet fascist shit the Dems keep praying will be successful.

A key reason for my lack of hostility toward liberals is that this is the perfect time to radicalize them. Many have opened their eyes to the ineffectiveness of their parties’ approach. Obviously, there’s gonna be those delusional blue no matter who types, but with politicians like Eric Adams, Fetterman, and a couple others, that mentality is losing appeal fast.

I think being in coalition with open-minded liberals and active progressive democrats will lead to a country that all of us would prefer more in comparison to this fucking Nazi circus we got going on in the White House.
